The Flatiron Room is classic gathering place in NYC
offering over 1000 whiskeys, bourbons, single malts,
cocktails, live jazz & food.
The challenge was to create a new concept and layout design for an endless collection of whiskey in the Flatiron Room. Using only black and white color.
Solution: Inspired by the traditional old whiskery in Great Malvern in the UK. That helped me to bring and designed a classic look menu with unique pop-up pages. So, the menu would actually come alive. I aimed to create a brand identity that would blend in with the chic interior of the restaurant. That would emphasize the strong and diverse whiskey menu. Using a neutral color palette with elements of gold, I created a series of whimsical illustrations that were applied on some pages. The menu became informative and positioned The Flatiron Room as an authority of whiskey.
